It’s been awhile since my last post, and hard to believe I’m gearing up for fall programs and reopening my office! Despite the challenges of 2020 so far, I have seen many clients adapt successfully and find creative ways to continue to deliver professional services and build their businesses. Several have found new jobs since the pandemic, demonstrating how networking and interviewing by zoom has become an important new skill set!

Personally, I’m still learning to adapt to this strange new virtual world and am grateful for all of the clients who have worked with me during this challenging time and invested in themselves in the face of such uncertainty. I am returning to my office in September with some limited in person meetings available and continuing to hold coaching calls by zoom and phone. I’ve launched a new website and I’m excited to introduce two new online programs…

Women on the Move is a four month coaching program for women who are ready to take charge of their professional lives and move their careers to the next level.

This program is geared towards professional women who are ready for a career change but struggling to make it happen: if you want a more fulfilling career but don’t have a plan, lack the self-confidence, or unsure how to build a network of support, then this program is meant for you. It is uniquely designed for women, and led by women, so that together we can figure out what it will take to bring more meaning, purpose and joy into our working lives…and still make a living!

What to expect? As a result of this program, you will discover how to create a more fulfilling career, generate new ideas, and implement a plan for growth. By the end of the program you will:

  • Have a plan for career growth and happiness
  • Overcome limiting beliefs about what’s possible
  • Build your network of supporters and allies
  • Communicate with confidence about what you want to achieve

The program is limited to eight participants and will take place from September – December 2020. It includes monthly group meetings by zoom, 1:1 coaching with Lianne, peer accountability and lots of new ideas, resources and tools to support your professional growth goals.

Join us for the first monthly meeting on September 16th and get ready to set the stage for a better 2021!

This summer I’ve had the pleasure of working with web designer Jessica Meltem at Young Seagull to create an online career transition and job search program for lawyers. The program is in its final testing phase and will launch in September.

If you are a lawyer looking for a career change and want to self-direct your search in a proactive, productive way, this program is designed for you. It is geared towards early-mid career lawyers who want to learn practical strategies for conducting an effective job search beyond job postings and need help to articulate their skills and strengths, generate options, and develop a plan for networking and marketing.
