Ivana Kadic

Ivana has over 20 years of professional experience in career advising, business consulting, and international law. She is enthusiastic about helping clients grow professionally by focusing on their strengths and seeing their future from an optimistic perspective, whether it is succeeding in their current roles or managing career transitions.  Ivana has provided career advice and coaching to clients from diverse backgrounds and at all stages of their careers, from law students to young professionals, to more senior executives.

Ivana’s personal and professional experiences have informed and influenced her approach to understanding the needs of her clients. Prior to training as a coach, Ivana worked at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law as career advisor to graduate students and alumni for 15 years, as well as running a couple of international law programmes.  She has also helped establish a family investment business and was involved in the legal and commercial aspects of running the business.  Living in several countries and working with foreign trained professionals in Canada gave Ivana an understanding of cross-cultural communication, the challenges and opportunities professionals face in new environments, and the nuances that are important for personal and professional success.

Ivana has a law degree from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law in Croatia, professional coaching training from the Adler Graduate Professional School and is currently working towards coaching certification with the International Coaching Federation (anticipated in early 2025).  She has completed a Solution-Focused Counselling course from the University of Toronto Faculty of Social Work, and regularly attends programming on a range of topics on coaching and career advising.

In her free time, Ivana loves being with family and friends, travelling, figure skating, and enjoying classical music and visual arts.
