Whether you are a Manager, Director, Senior Executive or Business Owner, you may find the challenges of your role do not leave a lot of time for reflection, thoughtful decision making or future planning. It’s easy to get stuck in reactivity and old patterns.
Working with your coach will reinforce that who you are as a person is the best leverage you have for becoming a great leader.
We start by identifying your core values, character strengths, and skills, and build your unique leadership profile. We then gather information about how others perceive you as a leader, with the option of conducting a formal 360 feedback process, and prepare a leadership action plan to address any gaps. With your desired outcomes top of mind, we will set up a process for you to implement and be accountable for the changes you want to make. Throughout the process, you will have the benefit of a trusted coach to offer a different perspective, guidance and feedback.
What to expect?
Leadership coaching engagements are 3-6 months and start with an in person kick off meeting (with the option to include the leader’s sponsor) to get to know each other and clarify development objectives. During the coaching period, we will meet regularly (typically biweekly) in person or phone. You can also contact your coach in between sessions for “just in time” support. We will provide a variety of leadership assessment tools, action plan templates, and professional development resources to support your priorities and to help keep you on track. A 360 feedback process is available and recommended for leaders who want to know how others perceive them as a leader.
