Individuals with expertise in their area often feel inadequately prepared to build and motivate a cross-functional team, communicate a vision with confidence, and/or navigate the complexities of managing up, down and across an organization.

A leadership coach offers a fresh perspective on what it will take to succeed in a senior leadership or professional role. Whether you are new to your position, preparing for progression to the next level, or a seasoned executive, working with a coach gives you a non-judgmental, strategic thinking partner whose purpose is to support you in achieving your aims. We work with you in a collaborative way to generate new ideas, build confidence and competence, and implement an action plan.

What to expect?

From our first contact, we work closely with the client/coachee and their sponsor to design a leadership development program that meets the client’s goals and aligns with the organization’s priorities. Coaching programs are typically 4-6 months with regularly scheduled sessions every month. Most coaching engagements include onboarding and discovery sessions with the client and sponsor, if applicable. In these preliminary meetings, we get to know each other, determine how we will work together and clarify desired outcomes of coaching. Throughout the coaching period, a variety of leadership assessment tools, planning templates, and professional development resources are available to support the learning process. A 360 feedback survey and report is a valuable tool we offer for leaders who are seeking more data on how others perceive them and is used to prioritize learning and development opportunities.

Below are some of the outcomes you can expect:

  • Improving  your impact as a leader
  • Building stronger relationships with clients, colleagues and staff
  • Communicating your vision with confidence
  • Motivating your team to achieve their best
  • Managing your work and life priorities more effectively
  • Enhancing your effectiveness as a decision-maker and influencer
  • Building the reputation of your team and organization

The season is changing. The signs are all around us and it is a wonderful time to work with metaphor. Pause and look outside. The leaves are turning. Kids are back to school. The days are shorter and darkness comes faster.
